Chinese smartphone manufacturer Nubia has unveiled the Nubia Red Magic gaming smartphone in India. The device will not only feature powerful internals but also an RGB-strip in its design to attract the gamer crowd in the country. The Red Magic will be available in India for an asking price of Rs 29,999 on exclusively on Amazon India, starting December 20.
The Nubia Red Magic comes with a 5.99-inch Full HD+ display with a tall 18:9 aspect ratio and a contrast ratio of 1500:1. The display is covered with a 2.5D curved NEG T2X-1 screen and has a total Resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. It features an ergonomic design that is paired with an RGB strip light at the back which supports up to 16M colours, designed to look like that of a gaming PC. There are four different lighting effects to choose from depending on what you’re into.

The Red Magic is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Chipset with Adreno 540 GPU, 8GB of RAM and dual-lane 128GB UFS 2.1 storage. Nubia claims that the inbuilt “Game Boost” feature will allow the smartphone to receive high frame rates. There’s a dual air convection cooling system which is made up of three cooling ports, graphite layers and a convex-styled back to maximise the heat dissipation from the inside.
In terms of optics, the smartphone features a 24MP primary camera with an Aperture of f/1.7 and a front-facing sensor which is an 8-megapixel wide angle shooter with f/2.0 aperture.
The Red Magic is fuelled by a 3,800mAh battery which will be able to last you up to 7 hours of aggressive gaming on a single charge. The device runs on the latest Android 8.1 Oreo interface which comes equipped with DTS Technology and Smart Amplifier integrated from within for an immersive audio experience. Additionally, the gaming smartphone also offers support for Bluetooth 5.0 and MIMO Antenna technology for enhanced wireless connectivity.
