Nokia Smart TV will be launched in India on December 5 and it is expected to be priced around Rs 39,999. Similar to Motorola TV, Flipkart is the brand licensee for Nokia-branded Smart TVs in the country. Flipkart will manage the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for Nokia branded Smart TVs.
Sources familiar with the development have said to The Mobile Indian, " Skyworth India Electronics, a subsidiary of China-based Skyworth Overseas Development Company, along with Skyquad will assemble the Nokia TVs in Hyderabad and in the first phase only one TV with 55inch screen will be lauched."
The upcoming Nokia Smart TV will come with model number 55CAUHDN and it will come loaded with a 55-inch display. Reportedly, the company is planning to add 4K UHD resolution and it will come with Intelligent Dimming technology, which will provide deeper blacks for better contrast. This will be similar to what we have seen in local dimming or micro dimming. Furthermore, the Smart TV is said to run on Android 9.0 Pie and it will come with Google Play Store as well.
Nokia Smart TV will have JBL sound programme for audio. "Don't be surprised if the Nokia Tv is strikingly similar to Motorola 55 inch TV in terms of features except the audio part, " our source added.
Motorola 55 inch Ultra HD (4K) LED Smart Android TV is Priced at Rs 39,999 and has a screen resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels. It has an IPS LED panel packing HDR10 capabilities and a peak brightness of 400 nits. It has a refresh rate of 60Hz and a viewing angle of 178 degrees. Moto Smart TV is powered by a 1GHz CA53 quad-core processor and has 2.25GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
