HMD Global has scheduled its Mobile World Congress (MWC) event on February 24 in Barcelona in which the company is expected to launch the flagship Nokia 9 PureView smartphone. Now ahead of the launch, the phone has passed China’s 3C certification.
A Nokia branded phone bearing model number TA-1094 appeared at the 3C certifications via GizChina.The 3C listing only reveals the device will be shipped with AD-18WC fast charger straight out of the box. The charger has an output rating of 9V and 2A, 12V and 1.5A, and 5V and 3A. This means that the adapter can support both Qualcomm’s Quick Charge and possibly USB-Power Delivery standard.
Apart from this, the listing does not reveal any other hardware details. The listing indicates that the company is getting ready to announce the Nokia 9 PureView for the Chinese market.
As per earlier reports, the Nokia 9 PureView might be priced at 749 Euros (approximately Rs 59,887) and 799 Euros (approximately Rs 63,885) depending upon the market.
The Nokia 9 PureView is expected to feature a 5.99-inch edge-to-edge QHD PureDisplay screen with 2K resolution and HDR 10 capability. It will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, coupled with 6GB RAM and 128GB inbuilt storage.
The phone will have the five rear cameras housed in a circular arrangement and that the Sensors will be provided by Zeiss optics. The smartphone could also run Android 9 Pie as rumours suggest that it will be a part of the Android One program. It will support Qi wireless charging and will feature an in-display fingerprint sensor as well.
