This is a great offer since MTNL is offering one of the cheapest plans among all the operators. It has not increased the tariff on the lines of private operators like Airtel, Vodafone and Idea who have increased their call rates by 20 per cent from 1 paisa per second to 1.2 paisa per second.
MTNL is still offering 1 paisa plans and has promised that it will not increase the tariffs even in the near future. It has also started some new value added services like the mini movie service in partnership with Shemaroo to give 15 minutes shortened version of popular Indian movies.
