A month after launching the Surface Go convertible in India, Microsoft has now announced the Surface Pro 6 and Surface Laptop 2 in the region, both of which will be available on Amazon, Flipkart, Croma, Reliance, Vijay Sales, and other retailers starting from January 28 for a starting price of Rs 83,999.
Speaking about the more expensive product, the Surface Laptop 2 is enabled by the latest 8th Generation Intel Quad Core Processor which is 85 percent more powerful than its predecessor. The laptop offers the new PixelSense Touch Display and can run for up to 14.5 hours on a single charge. The Surface Laptop 2 is available in four variants and can be configured with a Core i7 processor, 16GB of RAM and 512GB of onboard storage.
The Surface Pro 6, on the other hand, is Microsoft’s take on the 2-in-1 market featuring a 12.3-inch PixelSense display, designed for photo editing or video streaming. The device runs on the latest 8th Generation Intel Core processors but is versatile and portable at the same time. The Surface Pro 6 is accompanied by a Surface Pen which combines digital inking features and AI to get more done at a workplace. The device features a 165-degree kickstand and can be purchased alongside the Signature Type Cover and Surface Mouse to transform it into a laptop.
