Micromax today announced the launch of its latest tablet Canvas Tab P480. The 7-inch Canvas Tab P480 is Micromax’s third device in the Canvas Tab series, after the P470 and the Intel-powered Canvas Tab P666.
Powered by a 1.3 GHz quad core processor, the Canvas Tab P480 comes with Dual SIM with 3G connectivity and a 7-inch IPS screen having resolution of 1024×600 pixels. It currently runs on Android KitKat 4.4, but Micromax has promised to upgrade it to Android Lollipop 5.0 soon.
The tablet has a 5 megapixel auto focus rear camera with HD recording, and a 2 megapixel fixed focus front camera. It has a 3000 mAh battery.
The Micromax Canvas Tab P480 is priced at Rs 6,999 and comes with a premium gloss finish. It has been launched in Blue and White colours. The Micromax Canvas Tab P480 will be available in stores from the last week of April, 2015.
