iRobot has today introduced its latest robot vacuum cleaner, the Roomba e5, in India. The home appliance comes with a price tag of Rs 41,990 and it will be available for purchase from the company’s official website and major retail outlets across the country.
The latest robot vacuum comes with a power-lifting suction with 5x air power for cleaning floors and there is a filter to clean dirt and pet hair as well. The device comes loaded with a 3-Stage Cleaning system that basically uses dual multi-surface rubber brushes and power-lifting suction to pull dirt and debris. There is an edge-sweeping brush that clear the dirt from the edges and corners in the house.
The iRobot Roomba e5 comes with a smart navigation and dirt detect technology that allows the vacuum to clean on concentrated areas of dirt. The company claims that the device makes more than 60 decisions per second to navigate the home and clean under and around furniture.
The device comes with a washable dust bin and it basically docks and recharges automatically after the cleaning is done. Additionally, the vacuum comes with WiFi connectivity and one can schedule cleanings via iRobot HOME application. It is compatible with Amazon Alexa, through which one can just give the command from anywhere inside the home. Further, it can be also manually programmed with web-based service IFTTT (If This, Then That), which will allow consumers to set up conditional statements. The device comes with 2 years of warranty and there is a 1-year warranty on the battery.
