Days after launching the Idea Select Privilege to rival Airtel Thanks, Idea has released a Rs 1,999 plan for its prepaid users in India. The plan comes as an upgrade over the current annual plan that costs Rs 1,699 offering 1GB of data per day for a year, in select circles for Idea users.
Starting today, Idea prepaid users will be able to recharge for Rs 1,999 to avail the annual prepaid plan. As entailed, the Rs 1,999 Idea Prepaid plan will have a validity of 365 days, offering data and calling benefits during the full course of the validity. The new plan offers 1.5GB of data per day for 365 days, thus amounting to 547.5GB in total for a year.
The Rs 1,999 Idea prepaid plan will also provide users with unlimited, local, STD and Roaming calls and 100 SMSes per day. The plan has currently been made available for Idea users in Kerala and there’s no word whether the same will be pushed to pan-India.
Idea has also lined up a Rs 999 prepaid plan which offers a total of 12GB data for 365 days. Besides data benefits, the Rs 999 plan gives users unlimited, local, STD and roaming calls and 100 SMSes per day for a year. There’s also a Rs 1,699 prepaid plan which offers 1GB of data per day for a year and that has been made available in several circles across the country.
