We already know that Huawei is working on its first smartphone with pop-up selfie camera dubbed as Huawei P Smart Z. Now the company is also working on it’s another smartphone with pop-up selfie camera which will be known as Huawei Y9 Prime 2019.
Slashleaks has a leaked poster of the Y9 2019 smartphone taken at a store, as well as hands-on images of the phone. The leak has also revealed its specs.
As per the poster, the front of the Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 shares a similar design to that of the P Smart Z. The hands-on images reveal the back side of the smartphone. The phone will have a triple camera setup. The vertically arranged cameras are placed on the left with two Sensors sharing the same housing. The third sensor is housed separately.
The back side of the phone also shows the presence of a fingerprint sensor in the centre on the device. There is Huawei branding as well on the back on the left corner of the bottom.
The specs of the Huawei Y9 2019 will include a 6.59-inch display with an FHD+ resolution and a 91.006% screen-to-body ratio. The phone will be powered by a Kirin 710F under the hood paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It will be backed up by a 4,000mAh battery and will have USB Type-C port as well.
The phone will feature a triple rear camera setup with a combination of 16MP f/1.8 sensor, an 8MP f/2.4 sensor with an ultra-wide angle lens, and a 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor. For the front, there will be a selfie camera of a 16MP f/2.2 sensor.
The Huawei P Smart Z will have a 6.59 Full HD+ resolution (2,340 x 1,080 pixels) with 19.5:9 screen ratio. It will come equipped with octa-core Kirin 710 with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which can be expandable up to 512 GB via MicroSD. The phone will sport a twin camera module with a 16MP primary sensor with f/1.8 and 2MP secondary sensor with f/2.4. On the front, it has a 16MP pop selfie module with 2D Face Unlock. The smartphone will house a 4,000mAh battery and will run on Android Pie 9.0 operating system.
