Huawei is working on its new smartphone with pop-up selfie camera dubbed as Huawei P Smart Z. The renders and specifications of the smartphone have now leaked online. Notably, this will be Huawei’s first pop-up selfie camera phone.
The alleged renders of the Huawei P Smart Z were published by Mobile Kopen. As per the renders, the phone will have an edge-to-edge screen with only a small bezel at the bottom. The phone features a pop-up selfie camera and a dual rear camera setup at the top-right corner with the LED flash. The renders show that the phone will feature a fingerprint sensor in the middle at the back. The power button and volume rocker are on the right side frame of the device.
The Huawei P Smart Z will sport a 6.59-inch display with 1080 x 2340 pixel resolution and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the phone will be powered by the octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 710 processor coupled with Mali-G51 MP4 GPU. It will have 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage with microSD card support up to 512GB.
The source reveals that the phone will have a dual rear camera setup with a combination of 16-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. For the front, the phone will have a 16-megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture. The phone will pack a 4,000mAh battery and run EMUI 9 based on Android Pie.
The Huawei P Smart Z measures 163.5 x 77.3 x 8.9 mm and weighs 197 grams. The phone will come in Midnight Black, Sapphire Blue, and Emerald Green colours as per the source. The phone is reported to be priced at €210 which is approx. Rs 16,404. As of now, no official pricing and availability details are available.
Meanwhile, popular tipster Evan Blass has shared high-resolution official render of the phone. As per the render, the phone will feature a large-sized display without a notch. The render shows the phone with pop up selfie camera.
