Seems like Huawei is getting ready for the launch of its MediaPad T3 tablet soon in the United States. As per the reports, the device has got the all necessary approval from Federal Communications Commission (FCC) that regulates interstate and international communications by radio, television, wire, satellite and cable in the US.
The FCC document, however, does not reveal anything about the tablet but it includes the ID of the device which is BGG2-W09 which is the model number of the MediaPad T3. As per rumours, Huawei MediaPad T3 will feature a 7.0-inch display and powered by MediaTek processor which is coupled with 2GB of RAM.
Recently, Huawei MediaPad T3 7.0 tablet having the same model number ‘BG2-W09’ was WiFi certified from the WiFi Alliance (WFA). As per the Wi-Fi certification, Huawei MediaPad T3 7.0 will have a 7-inch display and will support dual-band Wi-Fi a/b/g/n (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Wi-Fi Direct connectivity features. Further, the listing shows that the device will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.
Earlier, another variant of the MediaPad T3 with an 8-inch display was also spotted with model number KOB-L09 on the Chinese certification website, TENAA, revealing key specifications of the upcoming device. As per listing, the Huawei MediaPad T3 8.0 has an 8-inch display with 800×1280 pixels resolution and is powered by a 1.4 GHz quad-core processor. It comes with 3GB RAM with 32GB of internal storage, 128GB expandable memory, a 5-megapixel rear camera, a 2-megapixel front camera and a 4,650 mAh battery. The tablet seems to have unibody metal design as per the images in the listing. The tablet runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system and the images reveal that it will come in Gold and Grey colour versions. Connectivity options of the device include dual SIM, 4G-LTE, Bluetooth 4.1, WiFi, GPS/A-GPS and a micro USB 2.0 port. The tablet also has Gravity sensors, distance sensors, light sensors as per the TENAA listing.
