Huawei has scheduled a launch event on November 25 in Shanghai, China where it will announce Huawei MatePad Pro. Now ahead of the launch, the device has passed through Geekbench which confirms its key specs. Huawei’s sub-brand Honor will be announcing the Honor V30 series on November 26 at an event in Beijing, China.
The model number featured on the Geekbench site is the Huawei MRX-AL09. According to the GeekBench listing, Huawei MatePad Pro will be powered by octa-core Kirin Chipset with a clock speed of 1.84 GHz. It means that it will be newly launched Kirin 990 octa-core chipset. The SoC of the device is coupled with 6 GB of RAM.
In addition, the listing also shows that the upcoming tablet will run on Android 10 operating system out-of-the-box. The Huawei MatePad Pro has received a single-core score of 314, while its multi-core score comes at 11832, as per the Geekbench listing.
Meanwhile, the Huawei MediaPad Pro has also received Bluetooth certification which revealed that the company could also launch a 5G variant of the device with model number MRX-AN09.
Earlier this month, the tablet was also spotted on 3C listing which confirmed the MatePad Pro is coming with 40W Huawei SuperCharge.
Renders of MatePad Pro or MediaPad M7 surfaced online some days back. The upcoming tablet will come with a punch-hole display. The hole is located at the top-left part of the screen. This will make it the world’s first tablet to feature a punch-hole display.
The MatePad Pro is also said to come with a magnetic keyboard. There might be POGO connectors at the base so that one can easily attach the keyboard to it. The render also showed that the upcoming tablet will come with the support of M-Pen stylus.
The tablet is rumoured to be powered by Kirin 990 chipset along with at least 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. It will likely to be backed up by 7,000mAh battery with support for 40W fast charging
