After announcing a new series of laser printers in India last month, HP has today introduced a high-capacity HP Neverstop Laser printer in the country to offer smart printing technology for businesses. The company is calling the HP Neverstop as the world’s first Laser Tank printer which can print up to 5,000 pages out of the box. The HP Neverstop Laser printer is available in India for a starting price of Rs 15,846.
Designed to be used for Small and Medium Businesses, the HP Neverstop Laser printer has a printing speed of 20 ppm (A4). The printer comes with an advantage of replacing the toner in 15 seconds that can be done through the HP Toner Reload kit.
The HP Neverstop can print up to 5,000 pages right out of the box and has a Duty cycle of 20,000 pages. HP says the printer will be able to save up to 80 percent cost for toners as its dual laser Toner Reload Kit offers users printing at 29 paise per page.
In addition to wired connections, the HP Neverstop also comes with mobile scanning, WiFi Direct and printing and can be connected to a smartphone using the HP Smart App. The App will allow users to order their Reload toner kit as well. Additionally, the company mentions that the printer has been made with more than 25 percent recycled plastic while the toner reload kit is made of 75 percent recycled plastic.
Speaking about the announcement, HP India MD, Sumeer Chandra said “With breakthrough innovations like Laser Tank, we are helping businesses enjoy high-quality laser printing at an affordable rate, and run their print-based workflows without interruption. Now, a larger number of customers can affordably take advantage of HP’s market-leading laser printing technology, which has always stood for the highest levels of quality and durability”.
The HP Neverstop Laser printer 1000 series will be available from Rs 15,846 (Non-Wireless) and Rs 17,236 (Wireless). HP Neverstop Laser MFP 1200 series can be purchased from Rs 22,057 (Non-Wireless) and Rs 23,460 (Wireless). HP is offering the Single pack and Double pack Toner Reload Kit for Rs 849 and Rs 1,449 receptively. All HP Neverstop Laser Printers will be available across HP World Stores, Large Format Retail Outlets, Multi-Brand Outlets, HP Online Store and leading e-commerce platforms in India.
