Huawei’s sub-brand, Honor, is all set to launch its latest flagship device, the Honor 10, in India pretty soon. The company has announced that the smartphone will hit Indian shores by May end.
The brand has also confirmed that the upcoming device will be exclusively available on Flipkart. “We are delighted to announce that Flipkart will be our exclusive online sale partner for Honor 10. At Honor, we have always believed in making our products easily accessible for our consumers by opting for strategic partnerships. We are confident that this association with Flipkart, who shares our vision to deliver superb value to consumers will help strengthen our position in the Indian smartphone market.” said P Sanjeev, Vice-President Sales, Huawei India-Consumer Business Group.
Honor has already confirmed that the latest flagship will be around Rs 35,000 in India. However, the brand has not revealed the exact figure, so one could expect it to fall under or just above this price range only. The company is yet to announce an official date for the India launch, which we might hear during the May 15 launch in London. So, stay tuned with us for further details.
To recall, the brand introduced its latest flagship device, the Honor 10 in China last month. The phone comes in two variants – 6GB RAM with 64GB internal storage for 2599 Yuan (approx. Rs 27,230) and 6GB RAM with 128GB internal storage for 2999 Yuan (approx. Rs 31,420).
The new Honor smartphone is powered by AI 2.0 and comes with a dual rear camera setup placed horizontally. The phone features facial recognition technology as well. The AI 2.0 technology allows for better portrait selfies using the front camera and enhanced face detection in the image gallery.
The Honor 10 has a dual rear camera setup of 16 megapixels (RBG) with LED flash and 24-megapixels (monochrome) with f/1.8 aperture, LED flash, PDAF and 4K video recording. In the front, a 24-megapixel shooter with f/2.0 aperture has been provided for selfies.
