Haier has launched Golden Color Double Drum washing machine in India for Rs 1,69,990.The double drum washing machine is known as DUO- Gemini supports two independently functional drums. This new washing machine has been launched as a sequel to the first double drum machineintroduced by Haier in 2016.
In Haier’s new washing machine, the two drums are placed one above the other which the company claims helps in catering to different laundry needs of a family, which increases efficiency and reduced wash time.
It is equipped with 30 customizable programs (12 in upper drum + 18 in the lower drum) which can be used as per the laundry requirements. One can use both drums for washing simultaneously as well as separately. The best scenario would be washing white and colored laundry in separate drums can be used to keep the colour intact and avoid blotches. The upper drum of the machine can contain up to 4 Kg of laundry whereas the lower drum can hold up to 8 Kg.
The company claims that the washingmachine consumes 30 percent less energy and has an A+++ energy rating. The machine comes with a lifetime warranty service on motors and houses a tyre door with chroming decoration that lets the users see through the washing process.
