Google announced its latest flagship smartphones Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL in the market at its Made for Google event. Along with it, the search engine giant has released the Google Assistant app in the Google Play Store as well. Before you get excited, you should know that the app will not work on your smartphone, if it does not have Google Assistant.enable the Google Assistant feature in your smartphone if that does not support it. Earlier, to trigger the Google Assistant, users use to hold the home button or voice activate it by saying Ok Google, but with this app users can now achieve the same task with just a tap on the application. The app requires certain requirements as well likeGoogle Search v7.11 or higher and minimum memory requirements.
