Bharti Airtel prepaid users subscribing to packs of Rs 199 or higher will reportedly get one-year free subscription of Norton Mobile Security. Customers can redeem the free subscription from either the company’s MyAirtel or by Airtel‘s official online website.

As per a report of TelecomTalk, all prepaid customers who recharge for Rs 199 or more are eligible to redeem one-year free subscription of Norton Mobile Security. To avail the one-year membership, users will have to first install the Norton Mobile Security app.

The report further reveals that some airtel users have received an regarding this. The SMS informs that one can get benefit of One Year of Norton Mobile Security Subscription when recharging with Rs 199 and above plan.

The Antivirus provides security features like protection against digital threats like risky apps, controls to safeguard your online privacy, lost or stolen device recovery when you need it, contact information restoration and sharing support for and devices. The subscription includes Anti-phishing web protection, Malware protection, Remote Locate, Call and Text blocker, Privacy Advisor, Safe browsing, Anti-theft and more.

In related news, Airtel recently introduced a new plan of Rs 248 and removed two existing FRC plans of Rs 345 and Rs 559. The 248 FRC offers unlimited local calls and national and 1.4GB of data per day. The pack is valid for 28 days.

Airtel is providing four First Recharge Plans of Rs 76, Rs 178, Rs 248 and Rs 495. All the packs come with 28 days of validity except Rs 495 pack which comes with a validity of 84 days. The Rs 76 pack offers 21 minutes of and 100MB of data. The Rs 178 pack offers unlimited voice calls along with 1GB of data and 100 SMS per day. The Rs 495 plan offers unlimited voice calls, 1.4GB of data per day and 100 SMS per day.
