State-owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has revised its Rs 999 prepaid plan. The company recently revised the Bumper Offer to provide additional 2.1GB daily data on top of the existing plan’s data benefit.

BSNL revised Rs 999 plan now offers a whopping 3.1GB daily data per day and is valid for 181 days (6 months). In total, the company is offering a data benefit of 561.1GB for the entire validity period. Once the daily data limit is exhausted, customers will be able to download at reduced speeds of 40Kbps.

The revised plan also offers unlimited local and STD voice calls without any FUP except for mobile numbers in Mumbai and Delhi.

Offers are attractive but should work with efficiency which I doubt? My bitter experience with the BSNl broad was lousy. It worked between 8 am and 9pm only and all my complaints to rectify the fault fell on deaf years, ultimately surrendered. Happy now with a private service provider.
