BSNL revises Rs 999 prepaid plan offering unlimited calls and 561 GB of data

The company recently revised the Bumper Offer to provide additional 2.1GB daily data on top of the existing plan’s data benefit.

State-owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has revised its Rs 999 prepaid plan. The company recently revised the Bumper Offer to provide additional 2.1GB daily data on top of the existing plan’s data benefit.

BSNL revised Rs 999 plan now offers a whopping 3.1GB daily data per day and is valid for 181 days (6 months). In total, the company is offering a data benefit of 561.1GB for the entire validity period. Once the daily data limit is exhausted, customers will be able to download at reduced speeds of 40Kbps.

TelecomTalk reports that the plan is valid across 19 telecom circles, except for the Kerala circle. In Kerala, the Rs 999 prepaid recharge is available with a different denomination. The revised plan also offers unlimited local and STD voice calls without any FUP except for mobile numbers in Mumbai and Delhi.

BSNL has extended the Bumper offer until January 2019 and it now ships with 2.1GB daily instead of the earlier 2.2GB daily data benefit. BSNL also recently introduced Rs 1,699 and Rs 2,099 annual prepaid plans with additional 2.1GB data benefit per day. The Rs 1699 offers 2GB data per day while the Rs 2099 offers 4GB of data per day and both plans come with a validity of 365 days. Now after the Bumper offer applicable on both these plans will now offer 4.21GB per day and 6.21GB per day respectively.
