BSNL revises Rs 187 pack with unlimited roaming calls and more

The state-run telecom operator has revised the Rs 187 plan and it now offers unlimited voice calls on national roaming.

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has made some changes to its existing Rs 187 tariff plan to compete with other operators like Reliance Jio and Airtel.

According to a report by Telecom Talk, the state-run telecom operator has revised the Rs 187 plan and it now offers unlimited voice calls on national roaming. However, it is important to note that the unlimited voice calls will be only valid in circles where BSNL has its operations. For the unintended, the operator does not have services in metro cities like Delhi and Mumbai. So, in metro cities, users will be charged at standard rates.

Apart from this, the operator is unlimited local voice calls, 1GB of data and users will also get free caller tune as well. The validity of the plan is 28 days and the price may vary from circles to circles. Additionally, BSNL is offering a plan of Rs 186 in Tamil Nadu. This is a part of a promotional offer where users get unlimited local and STD calls along with 1GB of data per day. The pack comes with a validity of 90 days and it is valid from October 21, 2017, to January 2018.

Previously, BSNL introduced a new ‘Loot Lo’ offer for its postpaid users. The offer is valid on seven postpaid plans and it can be availed from November 1. Under this offer, BSNL is offering up to 60 percent discount on its postpaid plans which include Rs 225, Rs 325, Rs 525, Rs 725, Rs 799, Rs 1125, and Rs 1525. The offer has been rolled on PAN India basis.

Coming to the data, the company is offering along with 500 percent more data for its users. Those who have opted for Rs 99, Rs 149, Rs 225 and Rs 325 will get free data of 500MB, 500MB, 3GB and 7GB respectively. Further, under other plans including Rs 525, Rs 725, Rs 799, Rs 1125, and Rs 1525 users will get 15GB, 30GB, 60GB and 90GB data respectively. Additionally, there is no daily limit on the above-mentioned plans.
