BSNL offers unlimited data on its range of postpaid plans

This simply means that postpaid users will get post FUP speed of 40Kbps once the data limit is exhausted. This will be applicable to postpaid plans that start from Rs 99 and goes up to Rs 1525. The move is in direct competition with Reliance Jio, which offers unlimited data as well.

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced that it will offer unlimited data on its postpaid and data add-on plans starting July 1. The company will basically not charge its users once their data is exhausted by providing a post FUP speed.

“The Data with all Postpaid mobile plans to be converted to unlimited with speed reduced to 40 after present free data limit,” BSNL said in a statement. This simply means that postpaid users will get post FUP speed of 40Kbps once the data limit is exhausted. The move is in direct competition with Reliance Jio, which offers unlimited data by providing the same post FUP speed after the free data is over.

The post FUP speed will be applicable to company’s range of postpaid plans that start from Rs 99 and goes up to Rs 1525. The brand has different plans including Rs 149 that comes with 500MB data limit, Rs 225 with 3GB data, Rs 325 with 7GB data, Rs 399 with 30GB data, Rs 525 with 15GB data, Rs 725 with 30GB, Rs 799 with 60GB data, Rs 1125 with 90GB data and Rs 1525 with unlimited data with no restriction.

Previously, the company revised its range of prepaid plans with more data benefits. The company has revised Rs 14, Rs 29, Rs 40, Rs 57, Rs 78, Rs 68, Rs 82, Rs 85, Rs 155 and Rs 241 plans.

Starting with the cheapest Rs 14 plan, users will now get 1GB of data for one day, against 110MB data offered earlier, reports TelecomTalk. The Rs 29 pack offers 1GB of data benefits for three days, up from the earlier 150MB data for the same period. Rs 40 and Rs 57 packs, now offer 1GB of data for five and 21 days respectively.

The Rs 68 and Rs Rs 78 plans now come with 2GB of data for five days and 4GB of data for 3 days respectively. Moving on, the Rs 82 now offers 4GB of data for three days and users will get free PRBT with the plan as well, while Rs 85 pack comes with 5GB of data.
