The latest pack is in direct competition with Reliance Jio's Rs 449 and Airtel's Rs 448 packs.
Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced a new plan to take on Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel. The company has revealed a new Rs 448 recharge pack for its users in the country.
Under this offer, BSNL customers will get 1GB of data per day and the plan comes with a validity of 84 days, thus making a grand total of 84GB data. Further, customers will get unlimited voice calls on local and STD network along with national roaming. Apart from this, users will get 100 SMS per day and users will get free access to personalised ring back tone as well.
"BSNL is the only player [that] passes max benefits and forwarding most popular services to its esteemed customers, STV-448 is the most competitive in present market scenario," said RK Mittal, Director of the BSNL Board.
The latest pack is in direct competition with Reliance Jio’s Rs 449 pack. Under this offer, users get 1.5GB data per day, unlimited voice calls, full access to Jio app suite and it comes with a validity 91 days. Airtel also has a Rs
448 pack that gives the user 1.4GB data per day, unlimited calling, 100 SMS messages per day and it comes with a validity of 84 days.
Previously, BSNL introduced Rs 99 and Rs 319 plans in the Calcutta circle. Starting with the Rs 99 plan, BSNL users will get unlimited voice calls on the local and STD network along with free national roaming. The pack comes with a validity of 28 days.
Coming to the Rs 319, the pack offers above-mentioned benefits and it comes with a validity of 90 days. Further, it is important to note that users will be charged Rs 60 paise per minute when making a local and STD call in Mumbai and Delhi.
