State-owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is now offering its prepaid and postpaid users 1GB of free data. Recently, the telco offered data carry forward option of up to 200GB to the next billing cycle to its postpaid users.
TelecomTalk reports that BSNL has recently revamped its My BSNL mobile app for Android users in collaboration with Call2action Communication India. As part of this revamp, BSNL is now offering free 1GB of data to its users who download the app for the first time from Google Play Store. After downloading the app, users need to sign-up with their phone number.
The report further states that the free data will come with a validity of 30 days from the date of crediting to your account. The offer is applicable to both the prepaid and postpaid subscribers of BSNL across the country. This offer is valid until December 31, 2018.
This data is complimentary and it can be used on the top of your existing plan. For example, if a customer is using a Prepaid plan of Rs 186 which comes with 3.2GB data per day. After exhausting the daily quota of data, the user can use 1GB of additional data.
The revamped BSNL app will allow users to check data usage, perform recharges, check account details, pay postpaid & Broadband bills. Any special offer available on your number can also be checked. In addition to all this, the app also enables the users to look for the 4G hotspots and connect as well situated at different locations all across the country. BSNL has collaborated with Call2Action Communication to roll out the updates app for the customers.
