Weeks after launching the Rs 1,999 broadband plan with 33GB data per day, BSNL has now introduced yet another plan for its broadband users in India – the BSNL Super Star 500. The new Super Star 500 plan is available on a monthly payment of Rs 949 across DSL or FTTH connections in all circles except for Andaman and Nicobar.
The Rs 949 broadband plan primarily comes with 500GB of monthly data at high speeds allotted to them through their connections. BSNL FTTH users subscribing to the plan will get speeds of up to 50 Mbps while DSL users will be able to access the monthly FUP at 10 Mbps. Post-FUP, the speeds will drop down to 2 Mbps for both connections.
The highlight of the BSNL Super Star 500 is that users will be able to avail a Hotstar Premium subscription worth Rs 999 for free with the plan, reports TelecomTalk. With Hotstar Premium, users will get free access to Live TV, Live Sports including Cricket, Premier League, F1, Tennis and more as well as other premium titles inside Movies and TV Shows. The subscription will last for a year after which users will have to pay for accessing content on Hotstar Premium.
BSNL’s Rs 949 broadband plan also comes with unlimited calling benefits. Users will be able to make and receive local and STD calls across any network in India any time of the day.
The new Super Star 500 joins BSNL’s Super Star 300 plan which was launched in June this year. The Super Star 300 is available for Rs 749 per month offering 300GB of monthly data and free subscription of Hotstar Premium.
In addition to that, BSNL recently also started offering free Amazon Prime subscription to broadband plans above Rs 399. With Amazon Prime, users will be able to avail free shipping on Amazon with several offer and deals during sale periods. Prime users can also enjoy streaming movies, TV shows and videos through Amazon Prime Video or play/download music through Amazon Prime Music.
