Weeks after introducing the Rs 599 prepaid plan with 180-days validity, BSNL has introduced a couple of prepaid plans exclusively on the occasion of IPL 2019. The state-run operator is gearing up to attract cricket fans from around the country with the introduction of Rs 199 and Rs 499 IPL prepaid offers which will offer up to 90 days validity.
The new plans will offer benefits of data unlimited calling and cricket-based SMS alerts for free during the course of the IPL. Unfortunately, both the prepaid plans only offer 1GB of free data but with validity periods of 28 days and 90 days on Rs 199 and Rs 499 plans respectively, reports TelecomTalk. Both plans will be available across 20 circles in the country which hasn’t been updated accordingly on their online portal.
BSNL Rs 199 IPL Prepaid Plan
BSNL is offering cricket lovers a new prepaid plan in the form of the BSNL Rs 199 IPL recharge plan which provides a user with 1GB of 4G/3G data for a period of 28 days. The plan will work with 4G speeds in areas where BSNL is offering its 4G services, otherwise, users will be limited to 3G speeds. The Rs 199 plan also brings free Cricket PRBT, Cricket SMS Alerts and unlimited calling during the course of the 28-day validity. SMSes aren’t free under the plan, however.
BSNL Rs 499 IPL Prepaid Plan
The state-run operator is also bringing a Rs 499 prepaid plan for the occasion of IPL, thus offering 1GB of data for a period of 90 days. In addition to data benefits, BSNL is providing users with unlimited voice calling across any network and circle including Mumbai and Delhi, which are otherwise not available on other BSNL prepaid plans. The recharge pack also enables 100 SMSes per day which is unavailable with the Rs 199 IPL plan. Additionally, the Rs 499 IPL prepaid plan comes with free Cricket PRBT song selections and Cricket SMS Alerts.
Earlier this month, BSNL started offering its users a new Rs 599 prepaid plan with free local, STD and roaming calls for 180 days. The state-run operator has also revised the Rs 899 prepaid plan which now offers unlimited local/ STD/ roaming voice calls and 3.2GB data per day for a period of 180 days.
