BSNL introduces two new long-term prepaid plans in India

The state-owned telecom operator has launched Rs 1,399 and Rs 1,001 packs.

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has introduced two new long-term prepaid plans for its users in India. The state-owned telecom operator has launched Rs 1,399 and Rs 1,001 packs.

Starting with the Rs 1,399 plan, it comes loaded with unlimited voice calls to any network in the country except Delhi and Mumbai. The pack offers 1.5GB of data per day and it comes with a validity of 270 days meaning that users will get 405GB of data for the entire period of validity. The plan also comes loaded with 50 per day.

Moving on, the company has introduced a Rs 1,001 prepaid plan as well. The pack comes with unlimited voice calls on local and STD networks along with free national except in Delhi and Mumbai. The pack comes with 9GB of data for the entire period of validity. The pack comes with 270 days of validity and it also offers 750 local and national SMS as well.

However, it is important to note that the packs are effective from July 25 with a promotional period of 90 days. This means users can avail this offer before October 25. The pack is currently available in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana circles, reports TelecomTalk.

Meanwhile, the company introduced a Rs 498 prepaid plan with Star membership. To avail the membership, customers will have to recharge their mobile number with 498 prepaid recharge plan. The new prepaid plan offers unlimited local, STD, and roaming calls to any network and circles except Delhi and Mumbai, 1,000 SMS messages benefits, and 30GB of data. The freebies would be valid only for 30 days, though there is a plan validity of 365 days.

BSNL has recently launched the Abhinandan-151 plan in all circles. The BSNL Abhinandan-151 plan comes with a validity period of 24 days and offers benefits such as unlimited local, STD, and roaming calls. Apart from calling, it also offers 1GB data per day that comes to 24GB data in total and 100 SMS per day for the subscribers. Once the data limit of 1GB is exhausted in a day, the speed will be reduced to 40 Kbps.
