Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has introduced new broadband plans with daily data limit to counter Reliance Jio’s GigaFiber services in India. The company has introduced four plans: Rs 99, Rs 199, Rs 299 and Rs 399.
BSNL users will get up to 600 of data benefits every month with the recharge of the above-mentioned plans, reports TelecomTalk. It is important to note that the plans are introduced on a promotional basis and it will expire after 90 days from the date of introduction.
Further, BSNL has revealed that these plans are not valid in Andaman and Nicobar circle. Additionally, all the plans come with unlimited voice calls coupled with one free email ID and 1GB of cloud storage space. The plans are meant for new users and old ones cannot migrate to these plans. Also, one has to pay a security deposit amount of Rs 500 that will be collected at the time of installation. It is important to note that after six months, users will be forced to migrate to other broadband plans.
Starting with Rs 99 pack or BBG Combo ULD 45GB, the plan offers 1.5GB of data for one month at internet speeds of 20Mbps. Once the limit is over, users can still enjoy the internet at speeds of 1Mbps. The BSNL BBG Combo 150GB plan comes with price tag of Rs 199 and it offers 150GB of data per month with 20Mbps speed and once the limit is over, the speeds will be reduced to 1Mbps.
Next in the line is BBG Combo ULD 300GB that comes with a price tag of Rs 299. The pack offers 300GB of data per month with internet speeds of 20Mbps. However, the pack comes with 10GB per day limit and once the data is exhausted, users will get 1Mbps speed. Lastly, BBG Combo ULD 600GB plan is priced at Rs 399 and it offers 600GB of data for one month. Users will get 20GB of data per day and once the limit is over, the speed is reduced to 1Mbps.
