The state-run telecom company BSNL has revised its Abhinandan-151 prepaid plan. The plan now comes with more data benefits. BSNL launched Abhinandan-151 prepaid plan in June in Tamil Nadu and Chennai circles. Later the plan was launched in all circles.
The new revision of the BSNL Ahbinandan plan has been announced on Twitter. The BSNL Abhinandan-151 plan comes with a validity period of 24 days and it now offers 1.5GB data per day. Earlier the same plan was offering 1GB data per day. So, the telco is now offering 500MB extra data for a period of 24 days.
Apart from data, BSNL plan offers unlimited local, STD and roaming calls and 100 SMS per day for the subscribers. Once the data limit of 1GB is exhausted in a day, the speed will be reduced to 40 Kbps.
BSNL Abhinandan prepaid plan competes with Reliance Jio’s Rs 149 prepaid plan which also offers 1.5GB daily data. However, Jio’s plan comes with a validity of 28 days, while the BSNL’s plan is valid for just 24 days. The Jio’s Rs 149 prepaid plan offers unlimited voice calling without any FUP limit and 100 SMSes per day for the entire plan validity period.
Recently, BSNL launched Rs 1,188 prepaid plan for its customers with long-term validity and other benefits. The new BSNL Rs 1,188 Mathuram Plan comes with a validity of 345 days and it offers 5GB of 2G/3G/4G data, unlimited voice calling to any network, including the Mumbai and Delhi circles. Apart from this, the plan also offers a total of 1,200 SMS messages for the whole validity period
