Asus has unveiled two new tablets dubbed as Tablet 600 and Tablet 810, running Windows RT operating system. The new Asus Tablet 600 features a 10.1-inch touchscreen display with a quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 mobile Processor inside it. While the Asus Tablet 810 features a 11.6-inch display with Intel Medfield mobile processor inside it.
The new Asus Tablet 600 features a 10.1-inch touchscreen display supporting 1366×768 IPS+ touchscreen which will make Metro UI more appealing. Running the Windows RT mobile operating system, this tablet has a quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 inside with 2 GB RAM. Wireless connectivity is ensured with WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0, Digital Compass and NFC. At the front lies a modest 2 megapixel camera and there is an 8 megapixel camera with LED flash at the back. This tablet is expected in the second half of the 2012.
Asus Tablet 810 comes with 11.6-inch touchscreen Super IPS+ display (1366×768) which is aimed to be a higher and better version of the current IPS panel technology. Under the hood, it will house Intel Medfield mobile processor with 2 GB RAM and run Windows RT. This tablet allows digital pen and multi-touch finger input – both powered by Wacom dual digitiser. It features 64 GB flash storage and also has NFC support. This tablet will also tag along a dockable keyboard with built-in battery.
Asus did not clarify the pricing and exact availability of both these tablets but we can expect to see them as early as the second half of this year.
