Asus has today launched its six new ROG laptops in India. The range of new Asus ROG laptops includes – ROG Strix G531/G731, ROG Strix Scar III/Hero III, ROG Zephyrus M GU502, ROG Zehyrus S GX531, ROG Zehyrus GX701, and ROG G703.
The ROG Zephyrus S GX701 would be available for Rs 299,990 and the ROG Zephyrus S GX531 starts from Rs 239,990. The ROG Zephyrus M GU502 starts from Rs 149,990, the price of ROG Strix Scar III and Hero III starts from Rs 139,990.
The ROG Strix G G531GT GTX1650 and G531GD GTX1050 are available on Flipkart from Rs 59,990 while the G731 will be available in the second half of July at a starting price of Rs 79,990.
Asus ROG Strix G531 and G731
The latest Strix series laptops are available in 15.6‑inch (G531) and 17.3‑inch (G731) sizes. Asus ROG Strix G531 is available with a 15-inch vIPS FHD display that has a Refresh Rate of 120HZ/3ms and the G731 comes with a 17.3-inch vIPS FHD that has a refresh rate of 60HZ.
Both the laptops run on Windows 10 operating system. While the G531 is powered by an Intel Core i5-9300H HM370 chipset, the G731 houses the Intel Core i7-9750H HM370 processor. Both the devices come with up to Nvidia GeForce GTX1650 GDDR5 (4GB) for graphics performance. The two laptops come with up to 32GB of DDR4 RAM and while G531 has up to 1TB of PCIe storage, the G731 has 1TB of HDD storage. Asus has also added a backlit chiclet all-zone RGB keyboard that comes with marked WASD keys and an N-key rollover. Both of them have three USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports and one HDMI port.
Asus ROG Zephyrus M GU502
Asus ROG Zephyrus M GU502 comes with a 15.6-inch Full HD IPS display (1920×1080) and is powered by an Intel 9th generation Core i7-9750H HM370 chipset. The laptop comes with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660Ti 6GB GDDR6 VRAM and up to 32GB of DDR4 RAM. It has two speakers that have smart AMP technology. The laptop has connectivity features like USB 3.1 Gen2 Type-C with DisplayPort, an RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet, a USB 3.1 Gen2 Type A, an HDMI 2.0 and two USB 3.1 Gen1 Type A ports. It has Built-in 76Wh rechargeable lithium-ion polymer battery which offers 6 hour battery life. The device has a backlit chiclet RGB keyboard that comes with N-key rollover and Aura Sync.
Asus ROG Zephyrus S GX531
Asus ROG Zephyrus S GX531 sports a 15.6-inch FHD display. The laptop is powered by Intel Core i7-950H Processor and has NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 for graphics. It comes with 8GB of DDR4 RAM and 1TB of PCIe 3.0 storage. Asus has also added a desktop design chiclet-style keyboard that comes with N-key Rollover and is backlit. It comes with 1 x DC-In, 1 x USB3.1 Gen1 Type C, 2 x USB2.0, 1 x 3.5mm Audio Jack on left, 1 x USB3.1 Gen2 Type-C, 1 x USB3.1 Gen2 Type-A on right and 1 x HDMI 2.0b, 1 x Kensington lock on back.
Asus ROG G703
The laptop has a 17.3-inch wide viewing angle display which has a refresh rate of 144 Hz and 3ms response time for fluid gaming. It is powered by Intel Core i9-9980HK processor. For gaming experience, the laptop supports Thunderbolt 3, Mini DisplayPort 1.4, and HDMI 2.0 for a truly immersive gaming experience. The performance is well complimented with the patented Anti-Dust Cooling technology and also integrates Xbox Wireless for gamers.
Asus ROG Zehyrus GX701
Asus ROG Zehyrus GX701 has a 17.3-inch Full HD IPS display that has a refresh rate of 144Hz and 100% sRGB. It is powered by an Intel Core i7-9750H processor and comes with NVIDIA RTX 2080 Max-Q and 8GB of GDDR6 VRAM for graphics. The device runs Windows 10 and has up to 32GB of DDR4 of memory and 1TB of SSD storage. The company has added an RGB keyboard that comes with N-key support and has a travel distance of up to 1.4mm. The laptop has various connectivity ports including USB 3.1 Gen2 Type-C with DisplayPort, 1 USB Type 3.1 Gen1 Type-C port, 1 USB3.1 Gen2 Type A port, two USB3.1 Gen1 Type A ports, an HMDI 2.0 and a 3.5mm Headphone jack. For audio, it has 2.5W speakers with Smart AMP technology Array Microphone.
Asus ROG Strix SCAR III and Strix Hero III
Both Asus Strix SCAR III and Strix Hero III laptops feature 15.6-inch and 17.3-inch display respectively with Intel Core i5, Core i7 and Core i9 CPUs. In terms of graphics, the Scar III and Hero III notebooks will feature up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 GPU with 8GB GDDR6 VRAM but users can also choose the RTX 2060 with 6GB VRAM or the latest GTX 1660Ti with 6GB VRAM.
The Scar III and Hero III laptops also come with FHD IPS panels of sizes 15.6-inch and 17.3-inch with a refresh rate of up to 240Hz, 3ms response time and 100 percent sRGB colour gamut. The notebooks come with a Backlit chiclet keyboard with Per-Key RGB lighting, Aura Sync, 4 Zone RGB and an N-key rollover. Both laptops come with 2 x 4W speakers with smart amplifier technology and a 66Wh 4-cell lithium-ion battery.
The laptops also equip up to 32GB DDR4 2666MHz SDRAM and 128GB/256GB/512GB/1TB SSD storage options with Intel 802.11ac (2×2) Gigabit Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5 for connectivity. Additional connectivity includes a Type‑C USB 3.1 Gen 2 with DP support, three Type‑A USB 3.1 Gen 1, an HDMI 2.0 port, a 3.5mm Audio Jack, an Audio jack mic-in, an RJ45 LAN port and a Keystone port.
