Amazon is going to add the Audible feature to its basic Kindle. It was first integrated into the recently launched waterproof Kindle Oasis, which is available at starting price of Rs 21,990. However, Amazon Basic Kindle is listed for Rs 5,999. The e-commerce giant confirmed that the service will be available in all the Kindle devices with an over-the-air (OTA) update in upcoming weeks.
With the Amazon’s Audible users are able to stream books in forms of audio to wireless Headphone or speaker via Bluetooth. As the basic Kindle and the Kindle Oasis do not feature an inbuilt or 3.5mm headphone jack.
