Amazon is hosting its Prime Day sale 2019 in India and globally on July 15 and July 16 and with the company will now also bring Virtual Reality (VR) based experience zones to users at select cities. Amazon VR experience zones will be available starting from July 6 to July 16 at select malls in Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, Chennai, Pune, Hyderabad and Kolkata.
At VR experience zones, users will be able to view products in life-size, inspect products up close, enjoy 360-degree views and evaluate products in the environment that they are likely to use it in. Amazon will enable customers to experience the new products without relying on images to make a decision to purchase the item.
Users will be able to see the fit and fall of a dress on a 360-degree hologram, pick up a necklace or earring and inspect the intricate details up close or open and look at the inside of a fridge. Customers can also engaging games, fly or walk through the Prime Day world.
VR Experience Zones during Amazon Prime Day will be open to all visitors for free from 12 noon to 8 p.m at select malls in Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, Chennai, Pune, Hyderabad and Kolkata. Users can win exciting prizes by clicking selfies and sharing their experiences on social media by tagging #AmazonPrimeDay & #DiscoverTheJoyOfMore.

Prime Day is Amazon’s flagship event exclusively for Prime members, offering new product launches, deals, video titles, music and more. The sale will be held on July 15 and July 16 for the whole 48 hours. Amazon has partnered with top brands such as Samsung, LG, Whirlpool, JBL, Sennheiser, Intel, Marks & Spencer, UCB, Kate Spade, Mothercare, Nestle and more to launch 1000+ new products on Prime Day available in India first to Prime members.
Amazon is also releasing 14 new Prime Video titles over the 14 days in English, Hindi and 7 regional languages leading up to Prime Day. On Prime day, members will be provided with a 10 percent instant discount on payment through HDFC Bank Debit and Credit Cards, reward points through Amazon Pay ICICI Bank Credit Card, No Cost EMI options on other cards as well as Bajaj Finserv EMI cards.
