Amazon has announced that it’ll be hosting its Prime Day sale 2019 on July 15 and July 16. This is the fifth time, the annual Prime-member exclusive sale is being hosted globally while Indian users are getting the Thord iteration of the Prime Day sale this year.
Unlike the previous sales, this year’s Prime Day sale will last a total of 48 hours, thus offering two full days of exclusive deals to Amazon Prime members. The company has disclosed that the Prime Day sale in India will see more than 1000 product launches with offers from leading brands including OnePlus, AmazonBasics, Samsung, Intel, Whirlpool, Sennheiser, LG and more.
Prime Day 2019 will also offer the year’s lowest prices on smartphones, consumer electronics, appliances, TVs, kitchen, daily essentials, toys, fashion, beauty and more. Amazon will be selling the LG W30 in Aurora Green, Samsung Galaxy M40 in Cocktail Orange for the first time during the Prime Day sale.
Besides that, Amazon will be providing its Prime members with 14 new Prime Video titles in Hindi and English and 7 new regional titles in the lead up to the Prime Day sale. Prime Video will thus host new titles starting from July 1 including Venom, Kalank, A Star Is Born, NGK, Maharshi, Ishq, Parvathamma and more.
On Prime day, members will be provided with a 10 percent instant discount on payment through HDFC Bank Debit and Credit Cards, reward points through Amazon Pay ICICI Bank Credit Card, No Cost EMI options on other cards as well as Bajaj Finserv EMI cards.
Prime members who haven’t tried Prime Music before today can stream a song and get Rs 200 Amazon Pay balance starting from today along with 20 percent cashback on purchase of any Echo device on Prime Day. The sale will also offer up to 50 percent discount on big-screen 4K TVs and other home appliances as well as discounts on books, toys, and gaming consoles.
Amazon is also offering experience outlets across select malls in Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune and Kolkata starting from July 6 where users will be able to watch product launches from top brands in Virtual Reality.
