Bharti Airtel has announced that its prepaid subscribers in different parts of the country can now access Facebook in nine different regional languages. Moreover, the offer is available till January 31 and has a limit of up to 30 MB per month. Do note that this offer is available only through the Facebook mobile website version.
Airtel users can access the Facebook through the mobile website. Airtel supports Facebook access for free on these regional languages – Hindi, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
To avail the offer, first you have to visit the m.facebook.com from your mobile or tablet and then you can choose the desire language.
This is a very interesting move by Facebook and Airtel to promote the usage of the social network amongst the regional language speaking folks to connect with their friends and other folks.
