Airtel has launched a new Prepaid plan of Rs 97 for its prepaid customers. The new pack comes with a validity of 28 days and comes in direct competition with the Reliance Jio’s Rs 98 plan.
Under the new Airtel plan, users will be offered 350 minutes of local, STD & Roaming voice calls. Additionally, customers will also get 1.5GB of 3G/4G data and SMS benefits of 200 local+STD SMS.
Airtel Rs 97 prepaid plan is an open market plan and customers can get their recharge done by going to Airtel website or application. TelecomTalk reports that the Airtel new plan is valid across all the 22 telecom circles in India.
We checked the plan for Delhi circle and it shows offering 350 minutes of voice calling. The report further says that in some circles such as Andhra Pradesh & Telangana, users will get 300 minutes or 18000 seconds of voice calling for a period of 28 days.
This plan competes with the Reliance Jio Rs 98 prepaid pack, under which customers get 2GB data. The Jio plan also offers unlimited voice calls without any FUP limit and 300 SMSes for a validity period of 28 days.
Meanwhile, Airtel recently launched Rs 289 prepaid pack with a validity of 42 days. Under this plan, Airtel offers its users unlimited local, STD and roamingvoice calls,1GB of 2G/3G/4G data and 100 SMS per day.
