Airtel launches Rs 588 prepaid plan offering 3GB data per day for 82 days

The pack comes without any FUP limit on the daily and weekly basis. With this plan, Airtel brings down the price of per GB data to Rs 2.26.

Bharti Airtel has announced a new tariff plan for its prepaid customers and to compete with other telecom operators with the launch of Rs 588 plan. The Airtel Rs 588 plan directly competes with rivals Reliance Jio Rs 499 and Vodafone Rs 549 existing prepaid plans.

The prepaid pack was first spotted by TelecomTalk , the Rs 588 plan offers 3GB of 4G/3G data per day and it comes with a validity of 82 days. So in total, you get a total of 246GB data. Apart from that, the plan also offers unlimited voice calls (local+STD), unlimited incoming calls and 100 SMS per day. The pack comes without any FUP limit on the daily and weekly basis. With this plan, Airtel brings down the price of per data to Rs 2.26.

Jio’s Rs 498 plan offers a total of 182GB data by offering 2GB per day along with voice calling benefits. It comes with a validity of 91 days. Vodafone Rs 549 plan offers 3GB of data per day along with unlimited voice calls with a cap of 250 minutes per day. It also offers 100 SMS per day and comes with a validity of 84 days.

Recently, Airtel introduced post FUP speeds of 128Kbps for all prepaid plans, for Rs 199 and above. Airtel revealed that it will now offer 128Kbps of data speed, after the FUP (Fair Usage Policy) limit is over, taking directly on BSNL and Reliance Jio.
