Airtel launches Rs 1,699 prepaid plan, comes with 1GB daily data, 365 days validity

The new Airtel recharge will compete directly with the Reliance Jio's Rs 1,699 prepaid recharge and Vodafone Idea Rs 1,499 prepaid recharge.

Airtel has launched a new long-term recharge plan for its prepaid users in India. At the moment, Airtel has announced this plan in Himachal Pradesh circle, but it’s expected to bring the same to all other circles as well in coming days.

As per the report, the Rs 1699 plan from Airtel comes with a validity of 365 days and it offers its customers unlimited STD, and local calls without any FUP, 1GB data per day and 100 per day. Additionally, the plan offers a free premium content subscription on the Airtel TV app.

The new Airtel recharge will compete directly with the Reliance Jio’s Rs 1,699 prepaid recharge and Vodafone Idea Rs 1,499 prepaid recharge. Recently, BSNL also launched a yearly plan of Rs 1,312 for its customers.

The Jio Rs 1,699 prepaid plan offers unlimited voice calling benefits, 100 SMS messages per day, and 1.5GB data per day for the validity of 365 days. There is free access to Jio’s suite of apps including Jio TV, Jio Money, and more.

The Vodafone Idea Rs 1,499 plan offers 1GB data per day, 100 SMS messages per day, unlimited voice calling, and one-year validity.

The BSNL Rs 1,312 plan offers unlimited local, roaming, and STD calls (except Mumbai and Delhi), 5GB of data and 1,000 SMS messages.

BSNL also offers two other yearly plans of Rs 1,699 and Rs 2,099 for a validity period of 365 days. The Rs 1,699 tariff plan offers 2GB data per day, unlimited local, STD and national roaming calls, 100 SMSes per day and free hello tune.

Rs 2,099 annual prepaid plan offers 4GB data per day along with an after FUP speed of 80 Kbps, unlimited voice calling to any network located within India, 100 SMSes per day and free PRBT for 365 days.
