Bharti Airtel has announced that its prepaid mobile customers in India can now recharge their mobile phones online at www.airtel.in/prepaidrecharge through netbanking. This is in addition to debit card and credit card payment options that were announced earlier.
Airtel prepaid mobile customers need to go to www.airtel.in and click on prepaid mobile under recharge prepaid tab or type www.airtel.in/prepaidrecharge in their browser. Upon visiting this recharge page, customer needs to enter his/her mobile number and select recharge amount and payment option. Then, they have to follow the steps like entering net banking user id and password.
Already most of the banks offer mobile recharge through their netbanking sites but doing it through the Airtel site is better in the sense that you can choose better plans as they are displayed on the site instead of simply recharging with any amount.
