Airtel announces Rs 97 prepaid recharge with a validity of 14 days

The Airtel plan is currently listed on the Airtel website for select circles like Andhra Pradesh (AP), Telangana and Karnataka.

Airtel has launched a new recharge plan of Rs 97 for its prepaid users in India. The new plan comes with a validity of 14 days.

The new Rs 97 prepaid plan offers its customers 2GB data for the entire validity period. Additionally, the plan also offers unlimited, local and STD calling. There are 100 per day in the plan also.

The Airtel plan is currently listed on the Airtel website for select circles like Andhra Pradesh (AP), Telangana and Karnataka. However, the telecom operator is likely to expand the availability of the new offer in other circles of the country.

The plan is listed as a “Special Recharge-STV Combo” on Airtel’s website and it comes soon after the company recently launched Rs 148 prepaid pack that offers 3GB data for 28 days.

Airtel Rs 148 plan offers 3GB data for the entire validity period, unlimited, local and STD calling and 100 SMS per day. Apart from these benefits, the customers will also get a subscription to Wynk Music and Airtel TV, where users will be able to watch 350+ live channels and more video on demand content.

Previously, Airtel revised its Rs 1,699 yearly prepaid plan. The plan now offers 1.4GB daily data for 365 days, meaning users will only have to recharge to enjoy their benefits once a year. During the course of the validity, Airtel prepaid users will also get unlimited local, STD and calls as well as 100 SMS per day.
