Bharti Airtel has announced a new plan for its prepaid users in India. Dubbed as FRC 144 plan, it offers unlimited calls and it is meant to counter Reliance Jio’s Rs 149 plan.
Under this offer, Airtel users will get unlimited calling along with 2GB of 4G data with a validity of 28 days. However, the plan is for limited prepaid users only, and for all other users, the brand is offering 1GB of data for 28 days.
Further, the company is also offering unlimited voice calls on Airtel to Airtel with a weekly limit of 1,000 minutes and a daily limit of 250 minutes per day. Once the limit is exhausted, the company will charge 10 paise per minute for the rest of the period. Additionally, unlike Reliance Jio Rs 149 plan, there is no unlimited SMS.
Coming to Reliance Jio’s Rs 149 pack, the company recently increased the data limit. Users will now get 4GB of data per month instead of existing 2GB for each billing cycle. Apart from this, users will also get free voice calling, unlimited SMS and access to Jio apps.
Meanwhile, Bharti Airtel is offering 100 percent cashback on recharge of Rs 349 for prepaid users. This is a limited period offer, though the brand has not revealed when it will end it.
