2018 Datsun Go and Go+ facelifts to launch in India this September

The Datsun Go and Go+ are powered by the same 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine, which are claimed to chunk the power of 68 bhp and 104 Nm. Mated to a speed manual transmission, the machines are also available in an option of CVT gearbox.

Nissan owned automotive brand, Datsun is all geared up to launch its 2018 Datsun Go hatchback and the Datsun Go+ 7-seater MPV in India. The vehicles were recently unveiled in the month of May for the Indonesian market, which will now be introduced this festive season across the nation.

According to a report by Autocar India, the brand will start the sales of its 2018 Go and Go+ in late September. The all-new Go hatchback is priced at IDR 102 million which will be approximately Rs 4.90 lakh (ex-showroom)in Indiamarket for the base manual transmission, while the top-end CVT model is available for IDR 142 million which is expected to pricedaround Rs 6.77 lakh (ex-showroom) in the country.

Moving to the Datsun Go+ MPV, the 7-seater machine is rattling at a starting price tag of IDR 112 million (Rs 5.35 lakh approximately) for the base variant and goes up to IDR 133 million (Rs 6.38 lakh approximately).

In terms of design, the new Go comes with an updated front grille, along with redesigned headlamps a newlystyled front and rear bumpers. The new model has ORVMs (Outside Rear View Mirrors) with indicators and large spoiler. The 2018 Go+ comes with smaller 14-inch alloy wheel compared to 15-inch wheels of the older version.

Both the versions have now new AC vents and a 6.75-inch touchscreen infotainment system. While the Go+ has a beige interior, the 2018 Go comes with all-black inside. The new Go has power windows, power steering, mobile docking system and a port too.
