Here we have shortlisted 5 phones that will never let you down when it comes to capturing pictures offering quality imaging. Our list also includes one smartphone i.e Honor 6X which comes with dual rear camera setup. The devices with dual camera setup feature a combination of either two different or same dual camera sensors. The secondary camera at the back of the device is to provide enhanced depth of field (DOF) or BOKEH effect. Honor 6X

Earlier, this year Huawei launched the Honor 6X smartphone with dual-camera set up for Rs 12,999 for the 3GB RAM variant and Rs 15,999 for 4GB RAM variant. The device comes in two variants, a 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage and a 4GB RAM + 64GB variants and is available exclusively via Amazon India.

The main highlight of the device is the dual-camera setup at the back. Honor 6X comes with a dual-camera set up at the back with one sensor being a 12-megapixel sensor and other being a 2-megapixel sensor. The set up comes with phase detection (PDAF), LED flash etc. At the front, there is an 8-megapxel sensor for selfies. The set up lets you dig into and play with shallow depth of field and one can change the focus of an image post clicking it.

The secondary camera at the back of the device is to provide enhanced depth of field or bokeh effect. However, you have to be very careful at times to get that perfect shot. If done right, the shot comes out to be really natural and the software also allows you to select the focal point after you have clicked the image. The camera is though impressive in low-light, but the camera manages to dig out pretty good selfies in daylight.

As far as other specifications are concerned, Honor 6X runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with EMUI v4.1 on top. Other than that, it comes with a 5.5-inch (1080×1920 pixels) full-HD IPS display with 2.5D curved glass protection. On the inside, the device is powered by a Kirin 655 octa-core (4 cores at 2.1GHz + 4 cores at 1.7GHz) with Mali-T830MP2 GPU paired with 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage or 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage. In both the cases, the internal storage is expandable via microSD card. There is 3340 mAh battery inside and the smartphone also offers with VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, with A-GPS, Compass etc.

Coolpad launched its Coolpad Note 5 smartphone in India last year. The smartphone is retailing at Rs 10,999 and is available in black and gold colours. The phone is exclusively available on Amazon India.

The Coolpad Note 5 has a 13-megapixel auto-focus camera that comes with CMOS Sensor and f2/2 aperture. The rear camera comes with HDR, panorama, wtarmark, GIF, professional mode and various features. The front 8-megapixel selfie camera comes with f2/2 and has the backing of an LED flash light as well. The front camera allows creating GIFs and Water Mark the photos. Besides, it has HDR, Beauty levels and various filters for the front camera. Both front and rear cameras can record videos in full HD, and 480p resolution. The phone comes with a front LED flashlight as well to help users take selfies in low light conditions.

Coolpad Note 5 has a metal unibody and a 5.5-inch display that comes with a of 1920×1080 pixels (full HD). It has the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 which is paired with Adreno 405 GPU GPU, 4GB RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. The phone can hold a micro SD card of up to 64GB. The Note 5 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and has a customised user interface – Cool 8.0. Most importantly, it has a huge 4010 mAh battery. The smartphone also comes with dual-system (dual space feature) feature, same as of older Coolpad Max, which allows its users to have two accounts on WhatsApp, Facebook, Line, BBM, and other social media applications on a single smartphone with a BiLogin feature and the phone has a multi-screen feature as well.

The Coolpad Note 5 also has a fingerprint scanner, which is placed on its back panel, and as per the company, it is quite fast and can unlock the phone in just 0.5 seconds. This smartphone from Xiaomi is probably one of the best smartphones we have seen till now when we consider ‘Value for Money’ proposition. The device scores high marks in the design department and packs the latest hardware, making it a one-stop for all your needs. The phone come in different configurations starting with 2GB RAM + 32GB internal storage for Rs 9,999, 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage Rs 10,999 and 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage for Rs 12,999.

To start with, the device comes with metal unibody design which gives a sturdy look. It is basically Mi Max in smaller chassis, which itself is a premium-looking smartphone. It comes with a 5.5-inch full HD (1920 x 1080) 2.5D curved glass display, which gave some decent performance in our testing period. For hardware, it is powered by a 2.0 GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 processor with Adreno 506 GPU, which is enough to handle most of the tasks including high-end games, streaming, multitasking without breaking a sweat.

The smartphone offers a 13-megapixel camera with f/2.0, phase detection autofocus, dual-LED (dual tone) flash while on the front we get a 5-megapixel f/2.0 selfie camera. The camera interface on the Redmi Note 4 is neat and quick. You get a bunch of modes such as Panorama, Manual Mode, HHT (hand held twilight) mode, beautify mode and other various filters.

Colour reproduction is accurate and most of the images in daylight or artificial lighting capture good amount of detail. The video shooting capabilities of the Redmi Note 4 is decent, however, the camera doesn’t come with auto-focus functionality while in the video mode. Also it can only record video upto 1080p.

On the camera front, the smartphone flaunts a 13-megapixel primary camera with LED Flash, Sony IMX258 sensor and PDAF. On its front, it has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies with a Sony IMX219 sensor and a lens. The K6 Power can record videos at full-HD resolution.
