Yi Technologies is all set to introduce the Yi Action Camera and Yi 4K Action Camera in India on December 17. The cameras will go on sale on Flipkart for a starting price of Rs 4,999.
First up, the Yi Action Camera comes with a 16MP Sony IMX206 CMOS image sensor with Exmor R ability, a 155-degree ultra wide angle lens and a high-performance g-sensor. It’s powered by an Ambarella A7LS Image sensor with F2.8 Aperture and an expandable storage of up to 64GB. The device records up to 90 minutes of footage without running out of power
YI Action Camera seamlessly records Ultra-HD videos and photos with advanced image stabilisation and noise reduction. Users can choose from 11 different video Resolution modes (including 1080p/60fps, 720p/120fps, 480p/240fps) and 5 photo modes to optimise their content. It comes with a built-in microphone with dual-channel audio and 96KHz sampling and features a USB Charging Port, HDMI Port, Micro SD Card Slot, WiFi and Bluetooth for connectivity.
The Yi 4K Action Camera features a smaller 12MP SONY IMX377 CMOS image sensor with Exmor R ability and 1/2.3” pixels. It features an F2.8 aperture and 155-degree Wide-Angle lens with Electronic Image Stabilization through a 3 axis gyroscope and 3-axis Accelerometer to compensate the motion change.
While the Yi 4K Action Camera can achieve 240fps video recording at 720p, 4K Ultra videos only have frame rates of 24fps. The device is powered by an Ambarella A9SE Chipset with a dual-core Cortex-A9 ARM CPU and a high-performance DSP. Additionally, the 4K Action Camera comes with Auto Low Light which adjusts the parameters according to different light conditions and there’s also a Lens Distortion Correction.
The Yi Action Camera and Yi 4K Action Camera will be available on Flipkart starting December 17 for Rs 4,999 and Rs 9,999 respectively.
