Yamaha Corporation subsidiary, Yamaha Music India has announced the launch of the AVENTAGE RX-A 80 Series of AV Receivers in India. The newest AV Receivers will come with SURROUND:AI technology which will deliver a home theatre-like experience. The new line of AVENTAGE RX-A 80 incline the RX-A1080, RX-A2080, RX-A3080, RX-A880 and Pre-amp CX-A5200 which start for an asking price of Rs 96,990.
Out of the five devices, the RX-A1080,RX-A2080,RX-A3080 and CX-A5200 come with SURROUND:AI technology which uses AI to automatically adjusting surround field effects on the fly to match the scene setting. The technology analyses on a scene-by-scene basis in real time and compares the scene’s audio characteristics to a reference database so that it can enhance the audio experience.
In addition to that, all the new AV receivers render support for immersive 3D object-based Dolby Atmos and DTS:X soundtracks which add height channels to traditional surround sound systems. Sounds not only move from left to right but also from front to back and between up and down depending on the sounds relayed during a scene.
All five AVENTAGE receivers also feature wireless MusicCast Surround which allows users to use wireless speakers for a home theatre’s Surround Left and Surround Right speakers, each synchronized with wired front speakers. MusicCast Surround is coupled with MusicCast wireless multi-room platform to stream music from almost any audio source over a home’s Wi-Fi network to multiple MusicCast audio products laid across the house.
The receivers also come with HDMI connections so that users can connect more HD and 4K video sources, such as 4K game consoles and Blu-ray players. They’re also integrated with installed home-control systems such as Control4 and RTI which will let customers lower the lights, and close the shades by turning on the home theatre system.

The Yamaha AVENTAGE RX-A1080, RX-A2080, RX-A3080, RX-A880 and Pre-amp CX-A5200 will be available for retail prices of Rs 96,990, Rs 1,22,990, Rs 1,61,990, Rs 1,93,990 and Rs 2,12,990 respectively at authorized Yamaha AV dealers in India.
