Xiaomi unveils Mi TV 4C, 4X, 4S in China

The Chinese electronics manufacturer has launched two new versions of the MiTV 4S and a variant both of the Mi TV 4C and TV 4X. The TVs will be available for an asking price of 999 yuan (approx. Rs 10,700) and will hit the shelves starting from May 31.

Xiaomi has announced the launch of its four new smart TVs under the Mi TV 4S, 4C and 4X lineup. All of the new TVs provide support for DTS-HD dual decoding and span from 32-inches, all the way over to 55-inches. The least expensive in the lineup is the Mi TV 4C which is available for an affordable price of 999 yuan (approx. Rs 10,650) while the larger 43-inch Mi TV 4S costs 1,799 yuan (approx. Rs 19,200). The 55-inch Mi TV 4X and 4S will retail for 2,799 yuan (approx. Rs 29,800) and 3,299 yuan (approx. Rs 35,200) respectively.

Xiaomi Mi TV 4C, 4X, 4S

Starting off with the cheapest in the newest bunch of smart TVs, the Mi TV 4C comes a 32-inch display with a viewing angle of 178 degrees and a of 1366 x 768 pixels. There are dual 8-watt speakers which offer DTS-HD decoding support. The TV comes with 1GB of RAM and 4GB of onboard storage with connectivity options that include a 3.5mm jack, a port, and two HDMI ports.

Next in line is Xiaomi Mi TV 4S which now comes with a larger 43-inch HDR display with a dual 6-watt speaker that carry support for Dolby / DTS dual decoding. Though the device also features a mere 1GB of RAM, the storage on the TV 4S now sees an increase to up to 8GB.

The Mi TV 4S also comes in a 55-inch variant with a piano paint design and minimal bezels. The curved 4K HDR-enabled display is powered by a 64-bit quad-core with 2GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. The TV 4S comes with a direct type backlight and also has a dual 8-watt speaker with Dolby / DTS sport and comes along with a remote control that will function using and gestures.

The standard version without the curved screen on the TV 4S is the MI TV 4X which comes with a 55-inch 4K standard HDR display and a 64-bit quad-core processor. There’s an adequate 8GB of onboard storage along with 2GB of memory, Bluetooth remote control, and two 8W speakers.

All the TVs in the listing will be made available on May 31 which is the same day when Xiaomi will be launching the Mi 8, MIUI 10 and other new products.
