Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro to be announced next week

Redmi Note 7 Pro smartphone could be powered by Snapdragon 675 chipset unlike the Redmi Note 7 that is powered by a Snapdragon 660 SoC.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 is launching in India on February 28. The company is also working on Redmi Note 7 Pro smartphone which we have already seen in leaks before. Now it has been announced that Redmi Note 7 Pro will be announced next week.

Redmi President Lu Weibing on Chinese social networking website, Weibo has confirmed that the phone will be launched next week. However, he did not reveal any exact launch date for the same.

Recently Redmi Note 7 Pro was teased to be featuring an in-display fingerprint sensor. It is expected that the Redmi Note 7 Pro may get unveiled as the Redmi Note 7 in India on February 28 or the company will launch the Redmi Note 7 Pro along with the Redmi Note 7. To recall, the Redmi Note 7 was launched in China last month.

Redmi Note 7 Pro was recently spotted on 3C certification with model number M1901F7BE indicating that it should launch soon. The 3C listing revealed that the phone will come with support for up to 18W fast charging. This could also mean that the Redmi Note 7 Pro will support rapid charging.

The Redmi Note 7 Pro is expected to be launched with 6GB RAM with 64GB storage or 6GB RAM with 128GB storage. The phone will have a 6.3-inch Full HD+ waterdrop notch display. As per a recent report, Redmi Note 7 Pro smartphone could be powered by Snapdragon 675 unlike the Redmi Note 7 that is powered by a Snapdragon 660 SoC. It will come with a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 primary sensor at the back. The Redmi Note 7, on the other hand, has a 48-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL GM1 sensor.
