Xiaomi launched Redmi Note 7 in China earlier this month. At the event, the company confirmed that it will be launching the Redmi Note 7 Pro smartphone after the Spring Festival in February. Now as per fresh information, Redmi Note 7 Pro could be available in 6GB RAM with 64GB storage and 6GB RAM with 128GB storage variants.
Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun and Redmi President Lu Weibing have asked fans what they expect from the Redmi Note 7 Pro. To this question, one user replied that he would want the company to skip the 3GB RAM with 32GB storage for the Redmi Note 7 Pro, but rather launch it with 6GB RAM with 64GB storage or 6GB RAM with 128GB storage.
Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun reposted the comment, tagging Weibing, indicating that the Redmi Note 7 Pro will indeed come with a 6GB RAM with 128GB storage option. It means that Redmi Note 7 might not launch a 3GB RAM variant at all.
As per a recent report, Redmi Note 7 Pro smartphone could be powered by Snapdragon 675 Chipset unlike the Redmi Note 7 that is powered by a Snapdragon 660 SoC. It will come with a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 primary sensor at the back. The Redmi Note 7, on the other hand, has a 48-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL GM1 sensor.
As far as pricing is concerned, the Redmi Note 7 Pro is said to be priced will be priced around 1,399 and 1,499 Yuan (approx. Rs 13,500 and approx. Rs 15,800). To recall, Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, on the other hand, comes in three variants – 3GB RAM priced at 999 Yuan which is approx. Rs 10,380, 4GB RAM for 1199 Yuan which is approx. 12,459 and 6GB RAM is priced at 1399 Yuan which is approx. Rs 14,537.
