The Chinese handset manufacturers, Xiaomi has introduced a new and smart way to deliver its products, by partnering with the Smartbox, on its own e-commerce platform starting today.
The Smartbox platform provides a wide range of digital parcel lockers across Delhi NCR, and would soon expand to other parts of the country. It allows users to pick, and get their online purchase delivered to a digital locker near their location, which comes really handy for working people as well as students.

The locker is accessed with a unique OTP and customer can pick up their purchase anytime as per their convenience within 72 hours. Xiaomi allows its users to opt for a smart box delivery on Mi.com and Mi Store app.
Once the order has been dropped off, the user will receiveanOTP
To collect the order, one will have to enter registered phone number & OTP on the Smart Box display screen.
The order will be returned if not collected within 72 hours.
According to Xiaomi, it gives users a choice and the option to have their purchases picked up from a safe, convenient and accessible location. Further, it is worth noting that all products of Rs 500 and above will get the free delivery, while a nominal charge of Rs 50 will be applied.
