A week after opening up its 7th manufacturing plant in India, Xiaomi has launched the Mi Notebook Air 12.5-inch in China. The latest model is an upgrade over the three-month-old Mi Notebook Air 12.5-inch which was launched with 7th-gen Intel processors back in December.
The latest Mi Notebook Air features a 12.5-inch display with a Resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and 5.71mm bezels on the edges. The device comes equipped with DTS surround sound technology, Harman full-range speakers and a full-size backlit keyboard.
As a change, the new Mi Notebook Air is powered by the 8th-gen Intel chipsets which are essentially the latest Core M3 and Core i5 processors. While the Intel M3 model can be configured with 4GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB storage, the Core i5 variant will feature only 4GB RAM and 256GB storage.
The notebook features a USB Type-C port, two USB Type-A ports, a Headphone jack and fast charging. The Mi Notebook Air measures at 292 x 202 x 12.9 mm and weighs in at 1.07 kg.
The new Mi Notebook Air 2019 will be available in Gold and Silver colours, for a starting price of 3,599 Yuan (approx. Rs 37,000) for the base Core M3 model and can be configured all the way up to Core i5, 256GB and 4GB RAM for 4,299 Yuan (approx. Rs 44,100).
