The gaming laptop features a 15.6-inch Full HD display with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels
Xiaomi has today announced the launch of its first gaming laptop and Mi AI Speaker Mini at an event in Shanghai along with its latest flagship smartphone, the Mi MIX 2s. The Mi Gaming laptop base model is priced at 5999 yuan, while the top-end model is priced at 8,999 Yuan. The Mi AI Speaker Mini comes with a price tag of 169 Yuan.
Xiaomi Mi Gaming Laptop
Starting with the gaming laptop, the device features a 15.6-inch Full HD display with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels along with 178-degree viewing angle, 300nits brightness and 81percent screen-to-body ratio. The laptop is powered by 7th generation Intel Core i5 and Core i7 processors along with up to 6GB DDR5 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 2060 GPU.
The laptop is backed by an 8GB/16GB of DDR4 RAM and 256GB/128GB+1TB HDD storage option. The gaming laptop features 30-key rollover keyboard that supports 16 million colours over four zones and it has five programmable keys for quick access to important features. It runs on Windows 10 and is backed by a 55Wh battery. On the connectivity front, it supports 1 HDMI port, 4 USB 3.0 ports, 1 USB Type-C port, 1 Ethernet port, 3-in-1 (SD/SDHC/SDXC) card reader, WiFi and Bluetooth 4.1.
Xiaomi Mi AI Speaker Mini
The brand has also introduced a smaller sibling to its Mi AI Speaker during the event as well. Dubbed as Mi AI Speaker Mini, the device can be controlled through voice and it is backed by an AI-powered voice assistant. The device is equipped with four microphones and it supports connectivity options ranging from WiFi to Bluetooth.
The speaker also features audio beam-forming technology that enables it to listen and recognize user’s voice commands in a noisy environment. The speaker also can be used to control the vast number of products under Xiaomi’s smart home line-up.
