Xiaomi brought the Mi Band 2 to India in 2016 itself. Later in September 2017, the HRX Edition of the fitness band was launched. Now Xiaomi has replenished the stock of Mi Band 2. The Mi Band 2 is now available on Mi india’s website for Rs 1,799.
The Xiaomi Mi Band 2 comes with a strap made of skin-friendly material and is currently available in black colour only though the band was originally made available in blue, green, orange and other colours variants. The Xiaomi Mi Band 2 is a fitness and sleep tracker like its predecessor. The band has a 0.42 inch OLED display which is covered by a scratch-resistant glass and has an anti-fingerprint coating. The Mi Band 2 has a heart rate sensor. The Mi Band 2 has an upgraded pedometer that claims to offer more accurate step count.
The Mi Band 2 can be connected to compatible smartphones and tablets devices via Bluetooth 4.0 LE. It weighs only 7 grams, and comes with IP67 certification for water resistance. The band has 70mAh battery that promises to offer up to 20 days of standby time.
Notably, the HRX Edition shares many features with the Mi Band 2. However, the Band 2 has additional heart rate sensor.
